    I followed the instructions found here:
    If you are encountering a critical error after exporting and importing Rank Math data from another site, it is likely due to compatibility issues or corrupted data during the import process. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

    Check for Plugin Conflicts: Deactivate all other plugins except Rank Math to see if the error persists. If the error goes away, reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the conflicting plugin.

    Update Rank Math: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Rank Math. An outdated version may cause compatibility issues.

    Review Error Logs: Check your website’s error logs for more specific information about the critical error. This can help you identify what is causing the issue.

    Re-import Data: If possible, try re-exporting the data from the original site and then re-importing it into your current site. Make sure to follow the correct procedures for exporting and importing.

    Open a Support Ticket: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider opening a support ticket for further assistance: Rank Math Support.

    Taking these steps should help you troubleshoot and resolve the critical error related to your redirections log.

    I also searched for another solution in support and tried to add the code snippet recommended and that didn’t work either.

    I’ve uninstalled and resinstalled Rank Math twice and it hasn’t fixed the issue.

    HELP!

  • Hello,

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with the critical error on your website related to the redirections log. Thank you for providing detailed information about the steps you’ve already taken.

    Since you’ve already tried checking for plugin conflicts, updating Rank Math, reviewing error logs, and re-importing data without success, we recommend the following additional steps:

    1. Check PHP Version: Ensure that your server is running a compatible version of PHP. Rank Math recommends PHP 7.2 or higher for optimal performance.

    2. Enable Debugging: You can enable WordPress debugging to get more detailed error messages. Add the following lines to your wp-config.php file:

      define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
      define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
      define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );

      This will log errors to a debug.log file in the wp-content directory, which may provide more insight into the issue.

    3. Conflict Check: If you haven’t already, try switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-One) to rule out any theme-related issues.

    4. Contact Support: Since you’ve already opened a ticket, please reply to it with any new findings from the debugging steps above, including any error messages from the debug.log. A human agent from our support team will be able to assist you further.

    If you have not yet provided your site URL in the ticket, please include that as well, as it will help us diagnose the issue more effectively.

    We hope this helps you move forward in resolving the critical error. Please let us know if you have any other questions or need further assistance!

    1. PHP version 8.2

    2. I turned on debugging through Kinsta. No errors were flagging. I edited the WP Config file to create an error log. Nothing has logged so far.

    3. Tried switching to 24 theme. No change.

    I’m at a loss here. I would prefer not to switch to another SEO plugin, but I dont’ know what else to do.
