Breadcrumb showing tags instead of category

    Hi,

    I have using the OceamWP theme and their own have Breadcrumb feature inbuild.

    If I activate the Breadcrumb feature RankMath too then it shows tags instead of category. If I deactivate the RankMath Breadcrumb feature then it works fine.

    So my query is If I deactivate the RankMath Breadcrumb feature is it affect my website SEO or SEO ranking?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math.

    If your theme is adding the breadcrumb schema as you want, you can disable Rank math breadcrumbs in Rank math > General Settings > Breadcrumbs, this will not affect your site SEO.

    If you want to use Rank math breadcrumb and show categories instead of tags, please head to Rank math > Titles & Meta > Posts and select primary taxonomy as your Categories
