  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your articles not being indexed and showing the "Crawled – Currently Not Indexed" status. This can happen for various reasons, including content quality issues or Google needing more time to evaluate the pages.

Here are some steps you can take to address this issue:

    1. Check Content Quality: Ensure that your content is unique, valuable, and comprehensive. Avoid thin or duplicate content.

    2. Use Internal Links: Make sure to include strong internal links to the affected pages from other high-traffic and relevant pages on your site.

    3. Sitemap Verification: Since you mentioned that you have added the sitemap successfully, double-check that it is correctly submitted in Google Search Console. You can also try resubmitting it to ensure Google is aware of it.

    4. Instant Indexing Feature: Consider using Rank Math’s Instant Indexing feature. To enable it, go to your WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO and activate the Instant Indexing module. Then, you can submit your pages for indexing directly from the Posts page.

    5. Wait for Google: Sometimes, it may take a few days or even weeks for Google to index new pages, especially if they are newly published.

If you continue to experience issues after trying these steps, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern, and we’re here to help!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The “no referring sitemap detected” means the page has been discovered by Google, and Google knows about it, but not through the sitemap.

Please note that a sitemap is only one of many ways Google discovers the URLs of your site. If Google discovers the URL through other means, it may not cross-reference your sitemap to check if the URL is there. Hence the “No referring sitemaps” message.

    2. The Crawled – currently not indexed status means Google has crawled these pages but has not indexed them. Finding a certain number of URLs with this status is entirely normal because Google does not index all the URLs we submit at the same time.

This isn’t an error but there are some reasons for excluding the pages from its index. Here’s a link for more information and how to fix it: https://rankmath.com/kb/crawled-currently-not-indexed/

There is nothing you can do to solve the Crawled – Currently not Indexed status other than wait for Google to start indexing them, as it means that Google has successfully crawled the URLs but hasn’t decided to index them yet due to reasons only known to them.

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.
