  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with your site showing a noindex meta tag despite having Rank Math set to index. This can be quite frustrating, and I appreciate your patience as you work through it.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Global Settings: Ensure that the global settings in Rank Math are not set to noindex. You can do this by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta. Check each tab to confirm that the settings are as per your preference.
      Check Titles & Meta Settings

    2. Discourage Search Engines: Make sure that the option Discourage search engines from indexing this site is not enabled. You can find this setting under WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Reading.
Ensure Search Engine Visibility option is unchecked

    3. Robots.txt File: Check your robots.txt file to ensure there are no disallow rules preventing indexing. You can edit your robots.txt file in Rank Math at WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Edit Robots.txt.
      Edit robots.txt

    4. Cache Plugin: Since you are using LiteSpeed, clear the cache after making any changes to ensure that the latest settings are reflected on your site.

If you’ve gone through these steps and the issue persists, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope to resolve it for you soon!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that this issue might have caused.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it could be caused by a conflict with one of your plugins/theme.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Let us know how this goes.

    Thank you.
