Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with your website crashing after activating the Rank Math plugin. This can sometimes happen due to conflicts with other plugins or themes.
To troubleshoot this issue, we recommend performing a plugin conflict check using the Health Check plugin. This allows you to test for conflicts without affecting your visitors. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Install the Health Check Plugin
- Log into your WordPress Administrator account and navigate to the dashboard.
- Go to Plugins in the WordPress menu, then click on Add New.
- Search for Health Check & Troubleshooting and click Install Now.
- After installation, activate the plugin.
2. Use Troubleshooting Mode
- Once activated, go to Tools > Site Health in your WordPress menu.
- Click on the Troubleshooting tab at the top.
- Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will deactivate all plugins for visitors but keep them active for you.
3. Activate Rank Math
- In Troubleshooting Mode, activate the Rank Math plugin first and check if the issue persists.
- If it does, then there may be a conflict with another plugin or your theme.
- If not, start activating other plugins one by one to identify which one is causing the conflict.
If you find a conflicting plugin, please let us know which one it is, and we will do our best to help resolve the conflict from our end.
If the issue persists even when only Rank Math and the default WordPress theme are active, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
A site crash right after activating Rank Math usually points to a conflict with another plugin, theme, or server configuration. Since the site stops responding completely, it may be hitting a fatal error or exhausting server resources.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c
Only the site admin would know, and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
If the issue persists with only the default theme and Rank Math plugin, please check if the PHP values are not too low to handle the processes on your website. You can check that by going to WordPress Dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info tab > Server
If the values are low, please contact your web host and ask them to set the following values:
PHP Memory Limit: 512M
Max input time: 150
PHP time limit: 120
PHP max input variables: 1000
After that, check if that works for you.
Let us know how it goes.
