Hi, I was using Rankmath for the last 6 months but from the last 1 week I’m getting a critical error and I’m not able to reinstall the rankmath plugin. Please help me

Please delete the plugin and install it once again.

If that doesn’t work, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Hello,

We tried the troubleshooting mode and it looks like Rank Math can be activated when all other plugins are disabled and when using the Twenty Twenty theme.

This suggests a conflict. Can you please check this from your end?

Thanks but I’m using newspaper theme and I can’t disable other plugins also. When I use debug mode then it shows that there is some error with the functions.php file.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for the unexpected delays and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Here are things I can suggest as I looked to your system log:

1. You might need to update your PHP version to 7.4 since it will run stable with Rank Math and other updated plugins too.

2. I noticed that you have some Rank Math tables missing. This might be the cause for the dramatic slow down of your WordPress dashboard.

Please follow these steps:

2.1 Update to the latest version of Rank Math Free & PRO

2.2 Ensure that the Advanced Mode is selected:

2.3 Re-create tables by clicking WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and click the Re-create database Table button.

3. If the slow down of your dashboard persists, you might need to increase the PHP memory limit to at least 512M.

Let me know if the critical error persists after doing these guidelines.
