Sitemap shows only 1 URL despite correct Rank Math setup

    Hello Rank Math Support,

    I am experiencing an issue with my sitemap that I cannot resolve. My site is:

    👉 Sitemap URL: https://aktivnidetsa.bg/sitemap_index.xml

    Problem

    When I open the sitemap, it shows only one URL instead of the expected sitemap indexes (posts, pages, products, categories, etc.).

    My Setup

    WordPress with Rank Math SEO (free version)

    LiteSpeed Cache (enabled)

    Homepage is redirected to a custom page via a small function in functions.php
    (domain root → https://aktivnidetsa.bg/начало-родители-търсачка-активности/)

    What I’ve Tried Already

    Confirmed there is no physical sitemap_index.xml file on the server.

    Flushed and saved permalinks from Settings → Permalinks.

    Checked Rank Math → Sitemap Settings – all post types and taxonomies are enabled.

    Verified that important pages and posts are set to index (not noindex).

    Removed custom canonical settings.

    Checked functions.php and wp-config.php for whitespace or errors (none found).

    Cleared LiteSpeed cache and tested again.

    Despite these steps, the sitemap still only displays a single URL.

    Could you please advise why Rank Math is only outputting 1 URL in the sitemap and how I can resolve this?

    My suspicion is that the issue may be related to the homepage redirection I applied via functions.php, but I’m not sure how to confirm or fix that. I tried disabling it and it still no difference, but maybe something it has also something to do with the cache.

    In this case, please check this guide for some common reasons why a URL is not included in the sitemap:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/url-not-in-sitemap/

    Also, head over to your website files /uploads/rankmath/, and delete any XML files from that path.
