Focus Keyword Detection Issue with Apostrophe (‘) in Turkish

    Hello Rank Math Team,

    I have noticed an issue with focus keyword detection when using apostrophes (‘) in Turkish content.

    For example:

    Post Title: iPhone’da Titreşim Nasıl Açılır

    URL: iphoneda-titresim-nasil-acilir

    Focus Keyword: iPhone’da Titreşim

    The problem:
    Rank Math does not recognize the focus keyword if it contains an apostrophe (‘). As a result, it cannot find the keyword in the title, URL, or content.

    I have seen that a similar issue with the ampersand (&) character was already fixed in the August 28 update. Could you please also apply a fix for the apostrophe (‘) issue?

    In Turkish language, the apostrophe (‘) is frequently used in titles and keywords, so this would be a very helpful improvement.

    Thank you for your response. Here are the details of the issue I am facing:

    WordPress Version: 6.8.2

    PHP Version: 8.3

    Rank Math Version: 1.0.252.1

    Site URL (example post): https://teknodestek.tr/iphoneda-titresim-nasil-acilir/
    Issue:
    When the focus keyword contains an apostrophe (’), Rank Math cannot detect it in the title, URL, or content.

    Example:

    Post Title: iPhone’da Titreşim Nasıl Açılır

    URL: /iphoneda-titresim-nasil-acilir/

    Focus Keyword: iPhone’da Titreşim

    Result: The focus keyword is not recognized.

    Hello,

    We’ve tried to use an apostrophe in the keyword and you can see that it is working properly:

    We suggest typing the apostrophe ' directly from the keyboard to your title, image ALT text, content, and the focus keywords so they match exactly. You can also try to copy the focus keyword and paste it to see if that works for you.
