Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with the UI Page Navigation after upgrading to Rank Math v1.0.252. It seems that the update may have caused a conflict with the Theia Post Slider plugin, which is why your navigation buttons disappeared.
To troubleshoot this issue, we recommend the following steps:
- Update All Plugins: Ensure that all your plugins, including Theia Post Slider, are updated to their latest versions. Sometimes, compatibility issues arise from outdated plugins.
- Check for Conflicts: Since you mentioned that you do not have the Site Health option, you can manually check for conflicts by deactivating other plugins one by one (except Rank Math and Theia Post Slider) to see if any specific plugin is causing the issue.
- Re-enable Rank Math: After checking for conflicts, try re-enabling Rank Math and see if the buttons reappear.
- Clear Cache: If you have any caching plugins or server-side caching, clear the cache to ensure that you are seeing the most recent changes.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention!
Per my original message, I’ve already determined Rank Math plugin is the culprit.
Hello,
Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
We’ve released a small update (v1.0.252.1
) where the issue has been fixed.
If you are unable to see an update, please clear Rank Math’s transients from WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Remove Rank Math Transients: https://rankmath.com/kb/rank-math-status-and-tools/#rank-math-transients
Please clear the caches, server, and WordPress after updating.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
A few things you could try before keeping Rank Math disabled:
Check for updates – make sure both Rank Math and Theia Post Slider are on the latest versions (sometimes conflicts are patched quickly).
Switch themes temporarily – just to confirm it’s not theme-related.
Enable troubleshooting mode – if your Site Health panel doesn’t show the “troubleshooting” option, you can install the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin
to safely test conflicts without taking your site offline.
Open a support ticket with Rank Math – include your plugin versions and steps to reproduce. Since it worked before v1.0.252, this might be a regression they need to patch.
For now, your workaround (keeping Rank Math disabled) is fine, but I’d recommend reporting the conflict to Rank Math so they can investigate.
Hello,
Thank you for your contribution, @Thomas133.
@Tammypoppie, you can follow this guide if you want to run a plugin/theme conflict check: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Let us know how this goes.
Thank you.
