Rank Math seo instant indexing can’t send and receive real data

It’s been years since I’ve used this feature of yours. Lately, for a couple of months, I have not changed anything on my website. Rank Math SEO instant indexing can’t send or receive real data. I mean, when I try to send a new published post of mine to Google, it says “success”. However, weeks later, I noticed that this wasn’t the case when I checked the actual data from the URL inspector of Google.

Additionally, when I check my posts in the Instant Indexing Window, it displays a ‘404 Not Indexed’ error, but in reality, they are indexed and appear in Google search results.
This is the only feature I’m using your SEO; is it time to change back to Yoast SEO?

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Instant Indexing feature in Rank Math. It sounds like there may be a few factors at play here.

    1. Instant Indexing Setup: First, ensure that the Instant Indexing module is properly enabled. You can do this by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Instant Indexing and confirming that it is activated.

    2. Check API Key: If you are using the IndexNow feature, make sure that your API key is correctly set up and that the text file containing the API key is accessible at the root of your website. If it’s not created automatically, you may need to create it manually as described in our documentation.

    3. 404 Errors: The ‘404 Not Indexed’ error in the Instant Indexing Window could indicate that there is a temporary issue with how the URLs are being processed. You might want to check if there are any redirects or changes in your permalink structure that could be affecting this.

    4. Google Search Console: Sometimes, Google may take time to reflect changes, even if they are indexed. It’s worth checking your Google Search Console for any crawl errors or issues that might be affecting indexing.

If you continue to experience these issues, we recommend replying to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope to resolve it for you soon!

As I mentioned, I’ve been using it for years, so I know how to set it up. This issue has been ongoing for weeks, and it has not resolved itself, so it is not a temporary problem. I opened a ticket after months. Now I’m using URL inspect to be indexed earlier. Your solution is not working anymore. Why?

    Hello,

That error means the URL was still not processed by the Indexing API from Google. It’s important to note that the requirements for that have changed and now the URLs go through rigorous spam detection.

Besides that, the guidelines now state that this is exclusive to a particular set of websites, so if your website doesn’t fall under that category or is considered spammy the submission will go through but the API will never parse the URLs.

You can check the full guidelines here: https://developers.google.com/search/apis/indexing-api/v3/quickstart

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi,

My website is as clean as heaven. Even Google says so,
    You can check yourself: https://www.androidbrick.com/
    Now what?

    Hello,

As we mentioned, the API is only for two types of websites (job posting and live streams) and goes through rigorous spam detection due to recent changes in Google, it’s much more difficult to get URLs into the API.

So, unless you have one of the website types we mentioned and the content is unique, you won’t be able to use this feature consistently and you shouldn’t as the API was never intended for it as mentioned in our own documentation.

The bottom line is that our submissions to the API are working fine, but if the pages are not accepted into it because of guidelines issues, there’s nothing we can do.

The Instant Indexing plugin was put through rigorous testing and we can see the submissions are working, but we cannot force Google to accept them as mentioned multiple times before.

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

    Hey Ike,

    Reread this:

Your plugin started acting weird out of nowhere:

    1. When I try to instant index a new URL of mine, it gives me ” success,” but in REALITY, it’s not success.

    2. When I try to check if one of my URLs is in the search index through your plugin, it says that it’s not indexed, but in REALITY, it’s indexed through the URL inspection tool, manually by me.

Now you can answer again. And please don’t say it’s another man’s fault. Are you going to help me or NOT?

    Hello,

Instant Indexing helps your website’s pages and content be crawled instantly. But, using Instant Indexing does not always result in the indexation of the content, as it may take anywhere from minutes to days or even weeks before a URL is indexed.

It doesn’t guarantee that your pages will show up in the search results, but you can still use it on your website.

Moreover, Google assigns a crawl budget to your website depending on these factors (especially these two), and that has a direct effect on how soon or how late your content can get indexed.

It depends on a lot of factors. Your posting frequency + the domain authority are just two of the many factors Google considers when indexing new URLs.

    Looking forward to helping you.
