Issue with Structured Data on Drinks Menu Page

    Hello Team,

I’m running an informational website about Dunkin’ Donuts menu items. Recently, I noticed a technical issue specifically on my Dunkin Donuts Drinks menu page.

The problem is that the Schema/structured data for this page is not being detected properly in Google’s Rich Results Test. While other pages on my site are showing correct schema markup and passing validation, this particular page either:

Shows missing itemListElement for menu items, or

Displays incomplete @type definitions for products

I’ve already cleared cache, re-saved the Rank Math settings, and even regenerated the sitemap, but the issue still persists.

Could you please help me troubleshoot why this page’s structured data is not being recognized correctly? I suspect it may be related to how Rank Math is parsing the content or to a block/HTML element that’s affecting schema generation.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Best regards,
    M Tanveer

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the structured data on your Dunkin’ Donuts Drinks menu page. It sounds like you’ve already taken some great steps to troubleshoot the problem, such as clearing the cache and regenerating the sitemap.

To address the specific issues with the Schema/structured data:

    1. Check Schema Configuration: Ensure that the Schema Markup for your drinks menu is correctly configured in Rank Math. You can do this by navigating to the page in your WordPress dashboard and checking the Rank Math settings for that specific page. Make sure that you have selected the appropriate Schema type (e.g., Menu) and that all required fields are filled out.

    2. Use Google’s Rich Results Testing Tool: Since you mentioned that the Rich Results Test is showing missing itemListElement, it would be beneficial to validate your structured data using Google’s Rich Results Testing Tool. This tool can help identify any errors or missing elements in your markup.

    3. Review HTML Structure: Sometimes, the HTML structure of the page can affect how Rank Math generates schema. Ensure that your menu items are properly formatted and that there are no conflicting HTML elements that could disrupt schema generation.

    4. Check for Plugin Conflicts: If you have other plugins that might also be handling schema or structured data, they could be conflicting with Rank Math. Try temporarily disabling those plugins to see if it resolves the issue.

    5. Consult Documentation: For more detailed guidance on configuring Schema Markup with Rank Math, you can refer to our documentation on rich snippets.

If after these steps the issue persists, we recommend replying to this ticket with any additional details or specific errors you are encountering, and a human agent from our support team will take over and assist you further.
