Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing regarding the Google Indexing API key. As of now, the Google Indexing API is primarily intended for job posting and live stream content, and it is not generally available for all types of websites, including personal blogs. This means that many bloggers may not be able to use the API key as they could in the past.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the Google Indexing API and its availability, I recommend checking Google’s official documentation or announcements. If you have further questions or need assistance with Rank Math’s features related to indexing, please feel free to reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.
Thank you for raising this concern!
I already setuo indexing api key but google search console still takes a lot of time for indexing. Chatgpt says that indexing api can also produce more problems google can consider these requests spammy and also delay the indexing more than usual. So, i want a simple suggestion i should remove this instant indexing api process or should keep it up.
Hello,
Since the API is only for two types of websites (job posting and live streams) and goes through rigorous spam detection due to recent changes in Google, it’s much more difficult to get URLs into the API.
So, unless you have one of the website types we mentioned and the content is unique, you won’t be able to use this feature consistently and you shouldn’t as the API was never intended for it as mentioned in our own documentation.
The bottom line is that our submissions to the API are working fine, but if the pages are not accepted into it because of guidelines issues, there’s nothing we can do.
You can check the full guidelines here: https://developers.google.com/search/apis/indexing-api/v3/quickstart

It’s important to note that Google will continue to crawl the websites; this feature is just to submit pages to the Indexing API, and it’s never recommended to solely rely on this method for indexing.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
