Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with the "no index" settings reverting back to "index" upon updating your pages. This can be frustrating, and we appreciate you bringing this concern to our attention.
To set a page to "no index" in Divi using Rank Math, you should follow these steps:
- Edit the post or page you want to set as "no index".
- Click on the Rank Math SEO icon in the Divi Builder.
- Navigate to the Advanced tab in the Rank Math SEO settings.
- Check the No Index option and also check No Snippet if needed.
- Update the page.
If the settings still revert back after following these steps, it may be due to a conflict or a specific setting in your WordPress installation.
We recommend checking the following:
- Ensure that you are using the latest version of both Rank Math and Divi.
- Clear any caching plugins or server-side caching that might be affecting the updates.
- Check if there are any custom functions or code snippets in your theme that might be overriding these settings.
If the problem persists, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for your understanding!

Advanced Tab in Rank Math SEO’s Meta Box
Hi
I’ve tried clearing the cache on my firewall (Sucuri) but the problem persists, whether I’m using the visual builder or the back-end builder. I’ve realised that no changes are being saved on update – I also want to change my page descriptions but these are also reverting back to default when I update the page.
The URL is http://www.tintavivatranslation.com. Can you help at all?
Thanks,
Ruth
Hello,
The Sucuri firewall is blocking access to the REST API route used to update the metadata
/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta

In this case, you may need to follow the steps in this guide to whitelist the route:
https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-whitelist-rank-math-in-sucuri/
If you need assistance in the process, we would recommend getting in touch with their support team and asking them how you can go about whitelisting that route mentioned.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hi Reinelle
Thank you so much for your help, that seems to have fixed it. I know firewalls are important, but they always cause these problems!
Have a great day
Ruth
