Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with migrating from Yoast to Rank Math. Thank you for providing your website URL. Here’s how you can successfully shift from Yoast to Rank Math:
Steps to Migrate from Yoast to Rank Math:
-
Deactivate Yoast SEO Plugin:
- First, you need to deactivate the Yoast SEO plugin on your website. You can do this from your WordPress dashboard under Plugins.
-
Install Rank Math:
- After deactivating Yoast, install and activate the Rank Math plugin. You can find it in the WordPress plugin repository.
-
Run the Setup Wizard:
- Once Rank Math is activated, it will prompt you to run the Setup Wizard. During this process, you will have the option to import your settings from Yoast SEO. Make sure to select this option to transfer your SEO data.
- If you missed this step during the initial setup, you can still import your data later using the Import & Export feature in Rank Math. Navigate to Rank Math SEO → Status & Tools → Import & Export and select the Yoast SEO tab to import your data.
-
Configure Your Settings:
- After importing, go through the Rank Math settings to ensure everything is configured correctly according to your needs. You can refer to our detailed tutorial on how to set up Rank Math here.
Important Note:
- Do not keep both plugins active: It’s important not to run both plugins simultaneously as they may conflict with each other and affect your SEO negatively. Therefore, you should delete Yoast after activating Rank Math.
Regarding Crawl/Discovered Status:
For the issue with your pages being in the "Crawl/Discovered" status, this could be due to various reasons such as site structure, robots.txt settings, or sitemap issues. Here are a few steps you can take:
- Check Your Sitemap: Ensure that your sitemap is correctly generated by Rank Math and submitted to Google Search Console.
- Inspect URLs in Google Search Console: Use the URL Inspection tool in Google Search Console to check for any crawl errors or issues with specific pages.
- Review Robots.txt File: Make sure that your robots.txt file is not blocking important pages from being crawled.
If you continue to experience issues, please reply to this ticket with more details about the specific pages affected, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

Hello,
You can follow our guide here on how you can migrate from Yoast to Rank Math:

Also, please note that the idea of having more than one SEO plugin for 2x optimization of your website for search engines is a misconception, and you shouldn’t have 2 plugins to perform the same task, as it can hurt your website more than it does any good.
