Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with Rank Math not functioning properly on your website. It sounds like there may be a few steps that need to be taken to ensure everything is set up correctly after migrating from Yoast SEO.
Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and fix the issue:
-
Ensure Yoast SEO is Completely Deactivated: Make sure that the Yoast SEO plugin is fully deactivated and not just disabled. Sometimes remnants of the old plugin can cause conflicts.
-
Check for Plugin Conflicts: Other plugins may conflict with Rank Math. Try deactivating all other plugins except for Rank Math to see if that resolves the issue. If it does, reactivate them one by one to identify the conflicting plugin.
-
Update Rank Math: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Rank Math. You can check for updates in your WordPress dashboard under Plugins.
-
Reinstall Rank Math: If the above steps do not work, consider deleting Rank Math and reinstalling it. This can sometimes resolve issues related to incomplete installations.
-
Enable the Meta Box: If the Rank Math meta box is not showing in your post editor, you may need to enable it. Navigate to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta in your WordPress dashboard and ensure that the meta box is enabled for the post types you are working with.
-
Connect Your Account: If prompted to connect your account, make sure you complete this step as it may be necessary for full functionality.
If you have tried all these steps and are still experiencing issues, please reply to this ticket with your website URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope to resolve it quickly for you!

Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
For troubleshooting, please try reinstalling the Rank Math plugin on your site:
https://rankmath.com/kb/uninstall/
If the issue persists, please check if there’s some security rule inside your .htaccess file that may prevent saving the settings.
You can also use the default .htaccess file from here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/htaccess/
Please do take a complete backup of your website before modifying your .htaccess as it is a sensitive file.
You may also check if your website has the ModSec
(ModSecurity) feature enabled on your server, as it can block some Rank Math processes.
Let us know how this goes.
