Hello,
I’m sending a screenshot, with the zone marked with an arrow. The plugin still automatically saves categories for me.

Hello,
Can you please try disabling our plugin and then creating a new post? See if the same issue is happening. We asked this because WordPress does add that category by default, even if you have no SEO plugin installed.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Hello
I also checked that. Everything is fine then. I also disabled all other plugins, leaving only the SEO plugin, and it still automatically assigns a category to me.
Hello,
If a post does not belong to any category, it will be automatically set to the “Uncategorized” category.
However, if you want to disable that, you can rename or create a default one.

Hello,
I disagree. When I disable the SEO plugin, it doesn’t automatically assign me any categories, then everything is fine.
I did as you suggested in the link. It didn’t help. It automatically assigns me the next highest category.
I’m closing this thread, as the problem is unresolvable.
Thank you all for your responses.
Best regards.
