Does the rank_math_seo_analysis_results option need to be autoloaded?

    Hello,

I am working on improving my website’s performance and recently analyzed my WordPress database autoloaded options. I noticed that the rank_math_seo_analysis_results record, which often contains 48kb is set to autoload = yes by default. Since autoloaded options are loaded on every page request, this can impact loading times and increase server memory usage.

Could you please confirm whether the rank_math_seo_analysis_results option really needs to be autoloaded? Is it safe to set autoload = no for this option, or could this affect the core functionality of Rank Math or its SEO analysis features?

I want to ensure the best performance for my site without breaking any important functionality.
    Kind Regards,
    Inga

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing regarding the autoloading of the rank_math_seo_analysis_results option. Unfortunately, we don’t have specific information about whether this option needs to be autoloaded or if it is safe to set it to no.

To ensure that you do not affect the core functionality of Rank Math or its SEO analysis features, we recommend that you reply to your ticket with this question. A human agent from the Rank Math Support team will be able to provide you with a definitive answer regarding this matter.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we appreciate your efforts in improving your website’s performance!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

When you create a new option in WordPress, the default is to have it autoloaded as you can see from this function here: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/add_option/

We don’t change that default behavior with our options, and the size of our options is not that big which could cause any performance issues by being autoloaded.

Regarding the change you asked for, you can change the autoload option, but as soon as that option is regenerated, the default behavior will return to your website.

If you want, you can delete the option rank_math_seo_analysis_results from the wp_options of this site and then disable the SEO Analysis Module from the Rank Math dashboard.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
