Could you please share the URL so we can check?
Meanwhile, Rank Math only alerts you by failing a test when your slug is already longer than the recommended length, but it will not automatically cut the slug.
For troubleshooting, you can temporarily deactivate the Rank Math plugin and check if the issue persists.
