No index issue and second language

Noindex Issue

To resolve the noindex issue, please ensure that:

1. Noindex Attribute: Check that your posts, pages, or entire website do not have the noindex attribute set. You can verify this in the Rank Math settings:

   • Go to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Posts/Pages/Products/CPTs and ensure that the noindex option is not enabled.
   • Also, check the global setting at WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Reading to ensure the Discourage search engines from indexing this site option is unchecked.
     

2. Robots.txt File: Make sure your robots.txt file does not contain any rules that might block Google from indexing your pages. You can edit your robots.txt file in Rank Math by going to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Edit Robots.txt.
   

Sitemap for .de Domain

For creating a sitemap for your .de domain using WPML, Rank Math automatically generates a sitemap for all your posts, including translated ones. Here’s how to ensure it works correctly:

• Ensure that you have submitted the main sitemap index to Google, which should include links to all translated pages. The sitemap index can be found at `https://support.rankmath.com.
• If you are using different domains for different languages (like .com for English and .de for German), make sure that each domain has its own sitemap generated by Rank Math. The translated pages will be automatically included in the sitemap.
