SITEMAP PROBLEMS:Pages Missing from Sitemap Despite Being Published and Indexed

    Hi Rank Math Support,

    We’re experiencing an issue where two of our key pages — /about/ and /contact/ — are not appearing in the page-sitemap.xml file, even though:

    Both pages are published and publicly accessible
    Set to index, follow in Rank Math

    Sitemap module is active and “Include Pages” is turned ON

    We’ve already:

    Flushed permalinks
    Cleared all LiteSpeed cache
    Disabled and re-enabled the “Include Pages” setting
    Turned off “Redirect Attachments”

    Requested indexing in Google Search Console

    Despite this, the pages remain excluded from our page-sitemap.xml:
    https://www.mod-tv.com/page-sitemap.xml

    Please let us know if there is a known issue or conflict. We’re considering switching SEO plugins if this can’t be resolved.

    The about and contact pages are already included in your page-sitemap. Could you please confirm if you have already fixed the issue?

    You may try clearing your website and browser’s cache for troubleshooting.

    Hi Reinelle. Thank you for getting back to me. i spent 4 hours on this today and figured out that th issue blocking the indexing of my two key pages About and Contact was because we put the url in the canonical setting as it appears on our site – and that stopped the Site Map from including those urls. I removed them and now it’s wokring. Thank you, close my ticket and have a great weekend.
