Problems adding secondary keywords to taxonomies

    Hello Rank Math support, I’m having trouble adding secondary keywords to my taxonomy. It limits me to one keyword. I’d like to know why this happens and how to fix it.

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with adding secondary keywords to your taxonomy. In Rank Math, it is not possible to add more than one focus keyword to categories and product categories. This limitation exists because optimizing such short pieces of content (like category archives) for more than one keyword does not make much sense, as you can only edit the title and meta description for these archives.

    If you try to add more than one focus keyword, you will encounter a restriction, as shown in the following image:

    Hello,

    Rank Math does not allow adding multiple keywords to your taxonomy pages. You can check the following article for why: https://rankmath.com/kb/focus-keywords-in-categories/#reason

    Please note that Rank Math keywords are not visible to Google or other search engines. The keywords are found through the content that is listed on the category pages. The best way to increase the number of keywords is to make sure you optimize the keywords for each of your single products/posts that are listed on a category page.
