New google analytics

    Hello guys.
    I am facing the following problem. When I follow the wizard and try to set up the
    “Connect Google™ Services”
    Analytics
    Account – Property – View

    On my account, I see all my accounts, on my property I see ONLY the properties made before November (before google analytics GA4)

    Are there any plans on updating rank math soon so it will work with the new version o google analytics

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    GA4 is relatively a new product and is in Beta, & there could be data discrepancies if we were to integrate them into Rank Math. And the fact that their APIs are not yet fully ready for 3rd party integration, there is not much we can do.

    However, we will begin working on the integration as soon as they improve their V4 API.

    In the meantime, you can enable GA v3 by following this:
    create a property
    and then choose
    ga 3

    Since Google is ”strict” and trying to make you use always their ”new and modern and better and faster and nicer and and and” products. I did the following. I skipped the part with analytics (on rank math setup) and did hardcode installation of the google tracking. When there is a fully working API – integration with the new google analytics I will do it via your installer.

    What do you think about this? I think its a viable solution

    If the analytics code is working for you, then this should not be an issue.

    You can keep an eye on our changelog: https://rankmath.com/changelog/ for when this added after which you can remove the analytics code and use rank math option to add the analytics code.
