Tag sitemap not generating even though enabled

    Hello Rank Math Support Team,

    I have enabled the “Tags” taxonomy in the Sitemap settings (Include in Sitemap is turned ON), and I have multiple published posts using these tags. However, the post_tag-sitemap.xml file is not being generated and does not appear in the sitemap_index.xml.

    Here’s what I’ve already tried:
    – Resaved permalinks
    – Deactivated and reactivated Rank Math
    – Cleared all caches (including CDN)

    Please check if this is a bug or if I’m missing something in the configuration.

    3. Custom Canonicals: If you have set custom canonical URLs for your posts, those posts may not appear in the sitemap. Ensure that you are using Rank Math’s default canonical settings.

    4. Robots.txt File: Make sure that your robots.txt file is not blocking the tag sitemap. You can check this in the Rank Math settings under Rank Math SEO → General Settings → robots.txt.

    Please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Tags, and from there make sure the Tag Archives Robots Meta are set to index.
