    Hi,
    I need help with my site zion-homeremodeling.com.
    1. The site canonical is not working except when I deactivate the Rank Math Plugin.
    2. Also, when I deactivate the Rank Math Plugin there are two or duplicate meta tags showing; <meta name=’robots’ content=’noindex,nofollow’ />

    Can you help how to resolve this, please?
    We don’t want a noindex,nofollow tag at this time.

    Hey, perhaps you can try this;

    There is an index-setting under WordPress: Settings -> Reading (Settings) -> uncheck at “search engine visibility”.
    Mine was checked, but only noticed AFTER I switched to Yoast. So, not sure this was the noindex error under RankMath.

    Hello,

    Thank you for getting in touch and I am extremely sorry about the trouble this might have caused.

    Canonical URLs are only added ti pages that are to set to noindex. Please check the following:

    1. Make sure the post is not selected as ‘noindex’ in WP > Posts > Your Post > Advanced Tab in Rank Math.

    2. Ensure that the noindex is not selected for Global or Posts meta:

    3. Head to WordPress dashboard > Settings > Reading and make sure you have not enabled the option to Discourage Search Engines from indexing your site.
