How does Rank Math work with staging on an ongoing basis?

    I have a staging version of my website which I use to test updates before pushing to my live site. However each time I push an update it overwrites my rankmath settings and breaks my connections, how do I stop this from happening? your help article on this subject seems to be aimed at people who delete their staging site once they go live but I like to do all ongoing development on it

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    Assuming that when pushing changes from your staging to the production, you have included the data from the database, then you don’t have to worry about the progress you have made in the staging site, as it will all be present on the live or production site.

    There may be some instances where the SEO scores will not be accurate on the post list page. In case that happens, you need to head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and click on the button “Re-calculate SEO scores”.
