    Hello Rank Math Support Team,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m currently facing an issue with enabling the **”Index Status”** tab in the Rank Math plugin. Despite having the plugin fully installed and active, I am unable to activate or access the **Index Status** feature in the dashboard.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

    1. Navigated to **Rank Math > Dashboard** but could not find or enable the **Index Status** module.
    2. Confirmed that my website is connected to my Google account and Search Console via **Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics**.
    3. Clicked **Fetch Data**, and verified site selection.
    4. Ensured my user role is Administrator.
    5. Cleared the browser cache and tested in Incognito mode.
    6. Deactivated other plugins to rule out potential conflicts.
    7. Rank Math is updated to the latest version.

Despite these efforts, the **Index Status** tab remains unavailable.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

    Thank you for your support.

    Best regards,
    \[Pouya]

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with enabling the "Index Status" tab in Rank Math. Thank you for detailing the steps you’ve already taken; it helps us understand your situation better.

Here are a few additional things to check:

    1. Check Property Type: Ensure that you are using a URL-prefix property in Google Search Console. Our plugin does not fully support fetching data from domain properties. If you are using a domain property, please reconnect your Google account from WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics and connect the URL-prefix property.

    2. Browser Compatibility: If the Enable the Index Status tab option is grayed out and unclickable, try switching to a Chromium-based browser like Google Chrome to toggle it on.

    3. Plugin Conflicts: Since you’ve already deactivated other plugins, ensure that there are no JavaScript errors in your browser’s console that might be affecting the functionality of Rank Math.

If you continue to experience issues after checking these points, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so we can assist you further. A human agent from our support team will take over and provide more specific guidance.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to resolving this for you!

    Hello Support Team,

I’ve successfully connected my Google Analytics account in Rank Math, but the plugin does not recognize my Google Search Console property.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

I created a URL-prefix property in Search Console (e.g. https://example.com) and verified ownership.

My Google account is listed as Owner in the property.

I reconnected Rank Math and allowed all permissions (including Google Search Console).

Still, the Search Console data is not showing up in the Analytics settings.

Can you help me resolve this issue?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Please select your new URL-prefix property under the dropdown for Search Console in Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics

    prefix

Also, if the Enable the Index Status tab option is unclickable, switch to a Chromium-based browser like Google Chrome and navigate to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics to toggle it on.

    Looking forward to helping you.
