Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with the "Advanced" tab in Rank Math not loading properly for certain pages. It sounds like a frustrating situation, especially when you need to update canonical URLs.
JavaScript errors can indeed cause functionality issues within the WordPress backend. To help resolve this, we recommend the following steps:
- Clear Your Browser Cache: Sometimes, cached data can interfere with how scripts load. Clearing your browser cache might help.
- Disable Other Plugins: Conflicts with other plugins can lead to JavaScript errors. Try temporarily disabling other plugins to see if that resolves the issue.
- Switch Themes: Occasionally, themes can also cause conflicts. Switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-One) can help identify if the theme is the issue.
- Check for Updates: Ensure that both Rank Math and WordPress are updated to their latest versions, as updates often include bug fixes.
- Inspect Console Errors: If you are comfortable doing so, check the browser console for specific error messages that could provide more insight into what might be causing the issue.
If these steps do not resolve the problem, please reply to this ticket with any specific error messages you see in the console and the URL of the affected pages. A human agent from our support team will then take over and assist you further.
Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention! We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue.
Hello,
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), this can be caused by a conflicting plugin/theme with your Rank Math.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hello!
I followed the YouTube tutorial and the plugin conflict check guide, but it seems the issue is not related to a plugin conflict.
I’ve confirmed that all plugins and the theme are updated to their latest versions. Since the issue persists, it might be caused by something else unrelated to plugin or theme conflicts.
Looking forward to your assistance.
Hello,
From the error in your console, it seems to be coming from the Snippet tab, where an invalid entry is present.

You can check the snippet options in Rank Math > Local SEO > Global Meta or the post type itself.
If the issue persists, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
