Hi Rank Math Team and Community,
I’ve been exploring the advanced schema capabilities in Rank Math Pro and noticed there are many schema types available to enable globally. While this flexibility is great, I’m wondering:
Is there any performance or SEO downside to enabling all schema types, even if some aren’t actively used on my site?
More specifically:
Does enabling all schema types bloat the front-end code or slow down page load times?
Are unused schema templates still processed during page rendering or in the background?
Would it be better to enable only the schema types I actively use (like Product, FAQ, or Recipe) to keep things lean?
I want to maintain fast load times and clean code, especially for content-heavy pages. Any insights from the Rank Math team or users with similar experiences would be really helpful.
Also, if you want to see a live example of how I’m using schema on a basic info page, here’s a generic sample menu page where I’ve applied a few schema types like ItemList and Organization.
Looking forward to your thoughts!
