A page with redirect exists in Google Console that I did not create

    I have a linked page with redirect in Google console and I don’t know if I should just set it as a 410 or not. It is not an existing page and I do not know how it got created as a redirect. Is it ok to just delete?

    If the page no longer exists and you don’t plan to replace it, it’s perfectly fine to return a 410 status. This tells search engines the content is gone for good. You can also remove the redirect if it’s no longer needed.
