Please ensure you have news articles published on your site and add all the necessary details in Rank math > Sitemap Settings > News Sitemap
Stay advised that the News Sitemap shows only the articles that are published in the last 48 hours.
Can you please confirm if that is the case on your end?

Does the Sitemap in PRO works with Custom Post Types, I have created a Taxonomy as Tech News and Post Type as News, Added publication in the Google, but when I submit it to console it says publication date is missing,
also, it renders a blank sitemap with discovered URLs as 3 but I have only 2 posts
now the problem is not solved I have been contacting support on email 2-3 times the NEWS Sitemap is not Working
the cache is not enabled at the XML type files on my server

rest all other sitemaps are working, if it was some problem on the server or caching others also won’t work

I also used this validation tool: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html and your sitemap appears valid from my end. Could you please share some screenshots if you are still facing this.

Hi, I have the same problem. Still waiting for response to my ticket.
– I use ‘news’ post type for newsarticle.
– My news_sitemap says ‘found 6 articles, but the list is empty. https://www.arenadigital.id/news-sitemap.xml
– In search console, it says missing publication_date tag
