We’re currently working on a staging environment: https://jrs.builtbyrobben.com/.

When setting up redirections in Rank Math, should the destination URL use the live domain (https://www.jrsduluth.com), or will Rank Math automatically update the domain once the site is pushed live?

For example:
From: /remodeling/bathroom-remodeling/shower-enclosures/
To: https://jrs.builtbyrobben.com/remodeling/bathroom-remodeling/

Once the site goes live, will Rank Math automatically change the destination to:
https://www.jrsduluth.com/remodeling/bathroom-remodeling/
or will we need to update these manually?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

No, Rank Math will not update the destination URL for your redirects when pushing the staging to the live version.

Therefore, we recommend using the live domain on the destination or updating it after you have already pushed your site.
