    Hi

    Why do these API calls run twice for every pageview? It adds around 500ms to my page load:
    https://api.wordpress.org/plugins/info/1.0/seo-by-rank-math.json

    seo-by-rank-math/includes/modules/version-control/class-version-control.php:

    These api calls aren’t there in previous version (1.0.241), i just tested, so something regarding transient might not be working in newest version

    I use Version 1.0.243

    Still same with API calls running twice for every pageview. It adds a minimum of 500ms to each pageload because transient is not working.

    Try check with Query monitor on WordPress.
