    We really like the ease of being able to insert meta and title tags the bulk way by seeing all the title tags and meta for pages and posts at once instead of having to open each page to add the meta that way.

    Is this something that can be done with post categories and post tags? We are adding meta for these things and we have to individually open each category and each tag to insert our meta which can take a while.

    We apologize for the issue you are facing. Yes, you can bulk generate SEO meta tags for categories and tags in Rank Math, similar to how you do it for posts and pages.

    To bulk generate SEO meta for your tags or categories, follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to your WordPress dashboard and hover over Posts. Then click on Categories or Tags.
      Hover over posts and select Categories or Tags

    2. Select the checkboxes of the categories or tags for which you want to generate the SEO meta.

    3. Click on the Bulk actions menu.
      Click Bulk Actions

    4. In the Bulk actions menu, you will see options under Rank Math Content AI:

      • Write SEO Title with AI — Generate SEO titles only
      • Write SEO Description with AI — Create SEO descriptions only
      • Write SEO Title & Description with AI — Create both SEO titles and descriptions
        Rank Math Content AI options

    5. After selecting the desired option, click Apply.
      Click Apply

    Content AI will then begin generating your SEO meta for the selected categories or tags. You can refresh the page after a few seconds to see if the SEO meta has been generated successfully.

    We don’t want to use AI for this. We are writing our own. Is there a way to bulk add them on our screen?

    Is there a way to do that for post categories and post tags? I don’t see that option within the rank math settings or in my screen options on wordpress.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, we didn’t include the bulk edit for title/description on the taxonomy pages, as they were meant to have little content for Search Engine Optimization.

    Those options are only available on your WordPress posts and pages section.
