Please note that the ‘Links Per Sitemap’ setting is only used to divide sitemaps into smaller sections. If you set it to 150, Rank Math will automatically create a new sub-sitemap once this limit is exceeded.
We recommend keeping the ‘Links Per Sitemap’ setting between 200 and 500. Otherwise, if you publish a large number of posts or pages, too many sub-sitemaps will be generated.

You can set the Links Per Sitemap to 200, and when this number is exceeded, Rank Math will automatically create another subsitemap.
You don’t need to set this number according to the posts on your website.
