Unfortunately, Rank Math doesn’t handle server/domain-level redirection. The best way to achieve this redirection is via the .htaccess
file.

Since there aren’t variations in htaccess for subdomains, it’s still not a perfect solution… Users will have a difficult time updating a file, with a lot of damage potential.
If RM wouldn’t strip the domain part, however, or leave an option to leave it intact, thus supporting subdomain-level redirect, problem would be solved.

Rank Math currently strips the domain from redirects, which limits subdomain-specific control. If this is something we can improve in the future, we will surely let you know.
In the meantime, using server-level rules like .htaccess
remains the most flexible option, though we agree it’s not ideal for all users.
